NEW DELHI, May 10: Sugar prices continued to be enquired at last closing levels for the second straight day in the wholesale market at national capital today due to scattered demand from retailers as well as bulk consumers against ample stocks.
Marketmen said scattered buying support helped sugar prices to remain flat at previous levels.
Following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,300-3,500, S-30 Rs 3,280-3,480.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,140-3,360; S-30 Rs 3,120-3350.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,270, Kinnoni 3,360, Asmoli 3,280, Dorala 3,310, Budhana 3,250, Thanabhavan 3,240, Dhanora 3,185, Simbholi 3,320, Modi Nagar Rs 3,220, Khatuli 3,310, Dhampur 3,190, Ramala 3,200, Bulandshar 3,160, Anupshar 3,180, Baghpat 3,210, Morna 3,210, Sakoti 3,170, Chandpur 3,140 and Nazibabad 3,190.
