SUF appeals students to launch agitation

JAMMU, July 15:  Demanding one year course of  B.ED and M Ed in Jammu University, All J&K Sikh Unity Forum (SUF) has appealed the students to get ready for bigger agitation for seeking justice.
In a meeting of the Forum held here today, several members including Rajinder Singh- convener, Sangat Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Manohar Singh, Gurmeet Singh,  Tajinder Singh,  Avjyot Singh, Balwant Singh Mehta, Balbir Singh, Dr Tarlok Singh and Ch Dev Raj demanded one year course of  B.Ed / MEd  in University of Jammu and entire Jammu region as  these courses in Kashmir University are also of one year duration. They alleged that great discrimination is being meted out to the students  of Jammu region by declaring these courses of two years duration by State Education authorities.
Sangat Singh criticized the Government for its Education Policy and termed it as deep rooted conspiracy to create confusion and division between the students of Jammu region and Kashmir region. Avjyot Singh appealed  all political parties, social organizations, NGOs and general public to fully support the movement started by student community in the region for justice.
