Jammu, July 15: As already taken up with Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in the recently held district development meeting of Jammu district Bjp Mlc Surinder Ambardar today took up the issue of migrant teachers who have been given promotion grade but have been told to join in Kashmir and strongly advocated for the immediate revocation of their joining orders in kashmir valley and other adjoining areas
Ambardar while discussing the issue with Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh said that all these teachers especially Females are not the fresh recruits but most of them have been serving in Jammu and adjoining areas from last 25 Years and it will be grave injustice to them If at this juncture when they have family to look after are told to leave everything in mess at home and join in Kashmir and moreover said that it doesn’t not make any sense if they are forced to join in Kashmir as the same joining will not be with willingness and wilfulness which eventually will not solve any purpose as there will be no peace of mind so it will be virtually impossible for them to impart the best of the education to the students there in Valley.
BJP Mlc further added that the migrant employees who have already gone to Valley under PM’s package or otherwise are living in pathetic conditions as there is no proper accommodation facilities as a result of which one room is being shared by almost there to four people therefore it will not be feasible if further more employees are sent there which will only create confusion and chaos and nothing else as the circumstance and scenarios in Kashmir valley needs to be made conducive first and then these types of orders can be executed
BJP Mlc also informed the Deputy Chief Minister that he has also discussed the matter with the Priya Sethi MoS Education, Culture and Information who is also of the same view that all these long serving teachers should be retained in Jammu especially females and with long pending overdue promotion grade to be provided to them with immediate effect .
