If football has taught me anything it is that you can overcome anything if, and only if, you love something enough Lionel Messi
The game of football in India which had always been in shadow has now started to get some lime light as Indian millennial generation is switching towards ninety minutes game which has in fact played a major role in evolving the football in India. Mostly we have been witnessing players participation from Eastern part of India and thus contributed a lot to Indian football. The real snow leopards are the players of Real Kashmir Football Club. The club was founded in 2016 and since then there has been no looking back. Valley which has always been in the middle of conflicts and curfews has not let the morale of players down. Determination level of players is so fascinating that they have achieved tremendous success in merely three years and especially in football it’s quite remarkable thing to do.
Real Kashmir has emerged as the winners of 2017-18 I-League 2nd Division and the football club has been breaking barriers ever since they have been promoted to top division I-League and thus finishing third as the team scripted some memorable wins over East Bengal and Mohan Bagan after competing for the title almost the entire season.
The uniqueness of Real Kashmir FC and its story of fairytale run to the top despite having low budget and limited resources is really commendable, the social significance of club’s presence in the valley had made a last longing impact as we can see more and more inclination of people towards game of football.
