JAMMU, Mar 29: RC Subramanyam, Superintendent of Tirupati Balaji Temple Jammu, today paid obeisance at the temple premises.
Accompanied by Temple Inspector Sai Krishna and Veda Pandit, Amit Shukla, Subramanyam also participated in the Special Abhishek of Lord Tirupati and prayed for the welfare of the country. Every Friday, the ceremony of Abhishek of Lord Venkateshwar is performed in Jammu.
In a statement, Subramanyam appealed to the Transport Commissioner to start a bus service for the pilgrims.
He also requested for starting the Bharat Darshan Bus service to the temple to increase the footfall of the pilgrims in Jammu region.
Ramesh Babu was among the other dignitaries present on the occasion.
