JAMMU, May 12: Subhadra Society here today organized a blood donation camp to support security personnel and other people injured in the shelling from Pakistan side during the recent tensions between India and Pakistan.
The camp was led by Society president, Mehak Trehan and she along with other society members also donated blood.
Speaking on the occasion, Mehak said that by donating blood, they demonstrated their strong bond with security forces and those affected by the conflict.
She called upon the youth to donate blood, emphasizing the need for voluntary blood donation to meet country’s blood requirements.
Society’s vice president, Ritika Trehan emphasized their commitment to reach out to every needy and aggrieved person to provide support in the best possible way.
She highlighted the importance of social responsibility and the role that organizations like Subhadra Society play in making a positive impact on the society.
“Engaging with local communities and promoting a sense of national pride and unity can also be an effective way to support security personnel,” Ritika maintained.
