UDHAMPUR, Feb 12: In its continued membership drive, Shri Kali Mata Gou Sewa Samiti, Thil-Roun, formed another 16 member sub – committee in village Thil during a well attended public meeting, held yesterday under the chairmanship of its president, Raghuvir Sharma.
The meeting unanimously elected Jagdish Chander Bargotra as president, Ex- Captain Luxman Singh and Joginder Singh as vice presidents and Ravi Kumar as secretary. The other members include Rishi Kumar, Ishar Singh, Balbir Singh, Naresh Tharmatt, Puran Chand Yogi, Girdhari Lal, Subhash Chander Bhagat, Bishan Das, Kunj Lal, Jagdish Bardo and Bittu.
On the occasion, vice president of Mother Organization Ashok Padha and general secretary, SS Jamwal spoke in length about the activities of Mother Samiti and called upon the administration to keep a check on bovine smuggling.
