Students protest against Principal

KATHUA, May 15: The student of class 11th of Government Higher Secondary school Sallan, Dayalachak held a protest demonstration against the Principal of the School for harassing them and declaring the students fail in the class with out conducting of Practical examination.
Large number of students of school led by ex Sarpanch Sudesh Kumar reached at CEO Office Kathua and raised protest against the school management. The ex Sarpanch Sudesh Kumar told that the 125 student including the girls are studying in 11th class in the  school. The Principal Vijay Kumar did not conduct practical of students and declared the result without adding the practical marks.
The result declared that all the girls have qualified examination while the 47 boys were declared fail. The protesting students’ met with Chief Education Officer, Incharge, Aruna Sharma and highlighted their grievances.  She said that how can Principal declared the results with out confirmation from CEO’s office and with out adding practical marks. She has assured the students that she will visit to school and inquire the matter on the spot.  The guilty person will be punished under law.
