UDHAMPUR, June 1: Strong winds blew away roofs of Middle School Darang, Middle School Kuddal and Primary School Kamara.
Locals informed that roofs of these schools were made of poor quality galvanized iron sheets that failed to withstand the strong winds.
Immediately after the incident locals of Aria brought the matter into the notice of ZEO Panchari and demanded immediate financial help so that the repair work may be done well in time to avoid further loss of building or other infrastructure.
Locals informed that condition of many school buildings in Panchari Zone is not up to the mark and there is also shortage of classrooms in some schools there.
