This has reference to the news item ‘Oppn stresses for dialogue with Pak, Stakeholers’ DE Aug 18.
To diffuse the prevailing unrest in the Valley and to contain its fall out in Jammu province, it is necessary that all political parties, social organisations and civil society members strive to attain peace in the State.
Instead of raising passions of people, it is necessary to calm down the agitating nerves. The forces against the stability of this great nation are waiting for the right opportnity to create disturbance. The people have to remain vigilant against these forces. The Jammu and Kashmir State is like mini-India where people of different faiths live in mutual existence and communal harmony, and can’t afford acrimony or polarisation.
The political parties of all hues can play an important role in diffusing the present crisis, by not indulging in petty politics to look after their vested interests.
In the stability of the nation lies the future of every one when nation lives, everybody lives. Nation is supreme than self.
