Sir,
After Uri attack, the Government has been considering many options to deal with Pakistan, the country that sponsors terrorism all over the world. While going through various articles, view points and TV debates, one can conclude that India is not in a position to take on Pakistan successfully. Inability to isolate Pakistan diplomatically. It is this inability of India that Pakistan is exploiting to further its nefarious designs.
Defense experts have outlined many loopholes which need to addressed first before going to war with Pakistan. It is said that Indian military depends heavily on foreign countries for hardware which include spare parts for equipments. Besides, India does not have a clear policy vis-a-vis Pakistan. The flip flop attitude adopted by successive Governments in India towards Pakistan has prevented the country from evolving a clear cut comprehensive policy to fight Pakistan. The need of the hour is to evolve this doctrine in consultation with all stake-holders like opposition parties, defense experts, diplomats and subject experts. This policy should serve as guide for every Government in the country. There should be no compromise on it.
Yours etc….
