Strengthen BSP in J&K: MP

JAMMU, May 4: Bahujan Samajwadi Party, J&K unit organized an awareness function at Guru Ravidass Sabha, R S Pura where Raja Ram former Member Parliament was the chief guest.
Dr Avtar Singh Karimpuri, Ex- MP and Coordinator J&K (UT), SR Majotra president J&K (UT) were also present on occasion. Raja Ram stressed the need to strengthen the organizational set up and approach the common masses at their door step to address the public grievances.
He also requested the workers to launch the membership drive to access their progress in the field. Dr Karimpuri criticized the Centre and State Government for its failure to control the hike in prices of essential commodities and atrocities being committed on Dailts in the country.
Darshan Rana while speaking, urged the people of Jammu South/ RS PURA to come together to fight against communal and hate speech. He also criticized the way LG’s Administration and BJP at the Centre are handling situations in J&K, as no electricity in most of the areas of J&K as well as water for common public and farmers is available.
Majotra thanked the participants and made a humble appeal to join the BSP. Raja Singh, Pritam Chand, Darshan Rana, Tarsem Lal, Pushap Kumar, Janak Raj, Parshotam Lal, Swarn Lal, Harbans Lal and Ravi Kumar were also present on the occasion.
