RAJOURI, May 4: Army organised a free health check-up camp at village Saj in Thannamandi tehsil of district Rajouri as a part of the ongoing campaign under ‘Our Planet, Our Health’.
During the camp Army distributed free medicines and vitamin supplements to locals after examining them for various ailments. The occasion was also utilised to educate the gathering on measures required to maintain a clean environment as a major contributor to a disease-free life.
People of all age group including old, children were checked up in the camp. The attendees were grateful to the Indian Army for addressing their medical requirements and for providing free medicines to the locals in the area. The local villagers told that it’s great opportunity for them as a number of medical experts including specialists were present in the camp. All the PRIs and locals thanked Army Unit Thannamandi for providing free health check up facility at their door step.
