JAMMU, Nov 7: Strength Lifting Championship which was inaugurated yesterday by Minister Zulfikar Choudhary concluded at Poonch today.
Winners were awarded by chief guest Lt Col W C Bilwada and guest of honour DySP HQ Poonch Mohan Lal.
Speaking to the gathering, chief guest lauded role of youth for organising sports event. He said that youth requires such events to be held so that their energy is channelized in positive direction.
Guest of honour while lauding the role of organizers, said that such sports events are helpful in tapping talent from border areas.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion were Prem Luthra Taj Mir, Tariq Khan, Pardeep Khanna, Khan, Shamim Banday, Dr Abassi, Raman Kumar, Moulana Moulana Shazad Anwari, Salil Raina, Nishu Gupta, Sarfraz Mir, Asad Chuhan, Nischal Sharma and Rajiv Kumar
