UDHAMPUR, Apr 15: Stray animals on Dhar Road, National Highway and the Main Bazars of Udhampur are causing accidents thus leading to injuries to the people as well as these animals too.
A large number of stray animals are seen in the heavily rushed roads like National Highway Shiv Nagar, Dhar Road near DC Office, Domail, Salathia Chowk, Court Road, Dabbar Chowk and near the Office of Municipal Council Udhampur resulting into traffic inconvenience.
On the other hand, Municipal Council Udhampur is not taking appropriate action in this regard. In this regard, social and political leaders have repeatedly appealed the people not to let their domestic animals roam freely on road and instead keep them inside their premises.
