Stop this noise

Sir,
Our city of temples is fast turning into a city of smoke, dust and air pollution. During peak hours it is impossible to even walk on most of our roads. We are finding fresh air as a luxury now. Tired from the day’s routine, people want some sleep during the night . It has now become a routine to remind people practically about a cheap but often heard filmi song –  Din  Ko Araam Karo,   Raat  Ko  Khao  Piyo –. It is a usual habit in many areas to play DGs at highest pitch during the night.
Loud speakers, bursting of crackers, in the name of festivals gone and approaching or private religious events, marriage celebrations all create unbearable noise. There seems to be no rule, authority, procedure or any order to STOP after 10 pm any sort of noise creating activities. Religious events mean giving solace and peace of mind as also concentrating on the almighty and not create highest level noise till early morning. Do not make more patients, physical, emotional and mental  out from otherwise normal people. Give them rest and a few hours peaceful night. No noise pollution please.
Yours etc…
