DODA, Aug 6: Former Minister and MLA Bhaderwah Mohd Sharief Niaz has asked the Minister for CAPD Ch Mohd Ramzan to stop discrimination with the people from Doda district.
In a statement issued here Mr Niaz alleged that during the month of Ramzan the CAPD provided 2 kg sugar to the consumers in Kashmir but hardly 700 gm is being provided in Doda and other parts of Jammu region. Even Valley consumers were provided additional one kilogram quota on festival. He described it as cruel joke with the people of Jammu region. He warned that Government should shun this discriminatory attitude towards people of Jammu region. He also demanded uninterrupted power supply in Doda-Kishtwar area during Eid.
