JAMMU, Sept 15: Stone Crusher Owners Association (SCOA) of Tawi Belt held a meet under the chairmanship of Vikram Randhawa, president, All J&K Stone Crusher Owners Association at Raipur Satwari.
The owners of crushers installed in Tawi area participated in the meeting and discussed the post flood situation as most of the crushers have witnessed huge damages due to the heavy floods that occurred recently in the river Tawi.
The association unanimously decided to revise the rates of stone crusher products with immediate effect. The revised rates of various products include Crusher Bajri (10mm/20mm) @Rs 9/Sft, Kankara @Rs 8/Sft, Nullah Bajri (uncrushed) @Rs 10/Sft, Sand/Dust @Rs6/Sft.
The association vowed to follow the revised rates strictly and the president said that any crusher found violating the above mentioned rates will be dealt with iron hands. The association also urged upon the Government to assess the losses of the crushers and compensate accordingly.
Among others present were Rajinder Singh Chib, President Tawi Belt-Shreee Ganesh Stone Crusher, Gyan Chand Sharma, Uphaar Stone Crusher, Madan Choudhary, Tawi Stone Crusher, etc.
