SRINAGAR, Feb 17: Police today said it have solved several burglary cases after they arrested three burglars and recovered stolen property worth lakhs of rupees on their instance in city here.
A police spokesman said the burglary cases were reported in north part of the city from past few months.” On this, Superintendent of Police (SP) constituted a special team. The investigation team succeeded in arresting three burglars identified as Mohammad Omer, Mohammad Ishaq and Mudasir. The stolen property worth lakhs have been recovered on their instance,” he said.
The spokesman said the trio was active in the city since long and is involved in many burglaries.  By arresting the trio police succeeded in solving three burglary cases that were registered in Khanyar, Lalbazar and Nowgam police stations, he said.
“Further investigation in this regard in going on and more recoveries are expected,” the spokesman added.
