RAMBAN, Aug 25: Khari police recovered a stolen part of a machine worth Rs 75 lakh.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged with Police Post Khari stating that some unknown persons have stolen the part of Tamrock machine used for excavation worth Rs 75 lakh from Seeran railway tunnel site.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 19/18 under Section 379 RPC was registered at Police Station Banihal and hunt was launched to arrest the accused and recover the stolen part of machine.
On specific information, a team from Khari Police Post recovered the stolen part from Jammu. Hunt is going on arrest the thieves.
Police team led by Incharge Khari Police Post SI Wasim Mehraj recovered the stolen part of the Tamrock machine under the supervision of SHO Banihal Inspector Aejaz Wani, SDPO Banihal Sajjad Sarwar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
