NEW DELHI, Sept 12: Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale steel market today as prices of saria and other steels after moving in a narrow range on lack of worthwhile activity, settled around previous levels.
Traders said absence of worthwhile activity from construction units kept prices at last levels.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 43,500, 10-mm Rs 43,000, 12-mm Rs 40,600, 16-25 mm Rs 41,400.
Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,200, 10-mm Rs 42,900, 12-mm, Rs 41,900, 16-25 mm Rs 42,000.
MS Angle: (50×5) (50×6) Rs 42,000, (40×5) (40×6) Rs 42,800.
