NEW DELHI, Sept 17: Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale steel market today as prices continued to move in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled at last levels.
Traders said scattered enquiries from construction units against adequate stocks position mainly kept steel prices unaltered.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 43,500, 10-mm Rs 43,000, 12-mm Rs 40,600, 16-25 mm Rs 41,400.
Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,200, 10-mm Rs 42,900, 12-mm, Rs 41,900, 16-25 mm Rs 42,000.
MS Angle: (50×5) (50×6) Rs 42,000, (40×5) (40×6) Rs 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40×6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000. (PTI)
