JAMMU, Nov 9: J&K Non-Gazetted Statistical Employees Association have demanded early conduct of DPC, creation of welfare fund for the cadre and regularization of daily wage, casual and consolidated workers.
In a meeting of the association held here with the Director Economics and Statistics, B R Lachotra here today, the members led by its president, Parshotam Singh Jamwal and general secretary, Ravinder Singh strongly projected the burning issues of the statistical employees.
The employees leaders stressed for the early redressal of the pending issues of the employees which include, creation of welfare fund for Planning and Statistics cadre, conducting DPC of incharge SOs, promotion of Section Officers as Assistant Directors, ASOs to SOs and JSAs as SAs.
They further demanded issuance of Quasi permanent order of JSs, SAs & SOs, conducting refresher course for SOs instead of examination, Vigilance clearance of the officers / officials who are likely to be promoted and regularization of consolidated, casual and daily wage workers who have completed seven years in service. Mr Jamwal requested the director to take up the matter with the higher authorities. Mr Lachotra gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured that all demands would be addressed at the earliest.
