State Govt restricts medical facilities: Nadeem

JAMMU, May 31: Nadeem Sharief Niaz, secretary publicity Jammu and Kashmir Congress Committee who led a protest in Jammu against Government for restricting 100 beded hospital Gondoh, Bhallessa to 50 beds and reducing 300 lac rupees from Bhaderwah hospital which were sanctioned for construction of residential quarters for Doctors.
Nadeem Sharief alleged that Government has shown no responsibility and has proved its inefficiency and lack of interest to develop medical facilities in State in general and erstwhile district Doda in particular.
Nadeem Sharief demanded that State Government should rollback order of restricting funds which have been sanctioned by previous Government or else people will be left with no choice other than agitating against the Government.
Nadeem further said that existence of State coalition Government is not based on principles hence causing unrest. He alleged that Government has failed to secure telecommunication towers causing chaos in State.
Furthermore he said that empty treasuries in whole State are adding miseries to general public. Govt employees have not been paid salaries for more than 6 months, contractors and daily wagers have not been paid their dues ever since new colation Government in State.
Nadeem Sharief Niaz demanded that salaries and dues should be paid to employees , contractors and daily wagers before holy month of Ramazan .
He said that State was having highest unemployment rate in comparison with its neighboring states. PDP-BJP both had promised comprehensive job establishments for youth of State before elections, the promise made to youth of State must be fulfilled on top priority.
