JAMMU, Dec 14: Shiv Shakti Sena (SSS), J&K, today staged protest against Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti at Janipur criticizing her decision of giving compensation to the kin of Burhan Wani.
Scores of activists of Shiv Shakti Sena today came on road here at Janipur and raised slogans against the CM for showing soft corner for the militants and their associates. An effigy of CM was also burnt on the spot.
Rakesh Gupta, president of Shiv Shakti Sena, J&K, while criticizing the CM, stated that on one side Indian Army is fïghting bravely with the militants to avoid loss of life and property in the Kashmir valley by staking their lives, whereas on the other hand Mehbooba Mufti is demanding compensation for Khalid Wani, brother of Burhan Wani – a top class militant. She is playing dual policy to play with the sentiments of the Nationalist persons.
Gupta urged upon the Central Government not to grant any kind of compensation for such anti- National elements who have been watering the militancy in the Valley.
“In case, such favouratism is done with the anti-National elements, we will come on roads against the decision for which the Government will be responsible”, he said, adding, if compensation is required to be paid, then only nationalist persons are to be considered and compensation should be paid to the martyrs of Indian Army and civilians.
