SSRB teachers discuss transfer policy

UDHAMPUR, Sept 18: Monthly meeting of Jammu Kashmir SSRB Teacher/Master Association was held here today under the chairmanship of State President Rakesh Singh to discuss the transfer policy of Teachers and its implementation.
Rakesh Singh alleged that only blue eyed Teachers were managing their transfer to choice places during the President rule and there is no say of common Teachers in transfer process due to which they are under mental trauma.
He sought to convey Advisor Farooq Khan that there was no transfer of Teachers from last 3 years due to which Teachers serving in remote areas were under mental frustration. He demanded that there should be a formal order from higher authorities for transfer of Teachers for summer Zones. Singh also demanded early DPC of Class IV employees as Junior Assistant who have qualified type test.
Others who spoke in the meeting, included Tarun Thakur, Jaisheel Verma, Rakesh Sharma, Arun Gupta, Ajay Sharma and Ajay Mathur.
