JAMMU, June 14: Traffic Police City Jammu today launched crash helmet distribution drive among the commuters near Wave Mall Jammu.
With the motive to educate the public about the importance of safety measures, Traffic Police instead of challaning the violators distributed crash helmets and also generated awareness among the violators.
During the drive, SSP Traffic City Jammu, Fiesel Qureshi, I/C Dy. SP Traffic City Jammu, DTI Narwal and others were present.
The SSP Traffic educated the commuters about benefits of using crash helmets especially in the case of accident. “The helmets protect two-wheeler riders to quite an extent,” Fiesel Qureshi said.
He hoped that the commuters will strictly adhere to wearing of crash helmets.
