JAMMU, Jan 12: Three police officers/officials have been awarded with Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India’s prestigious medal for excellence in training for the year 2021-22.
They are Mohan Lal, SSP Deputy Director, Ashok Kumar, Inspector and Selection Grade Constable Mastan Singh of Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur.
SSP Mohan Lal is recipiant of President’s Police Medal for Gallantry, Gallantry Ist Bar and Meritorious Services. Recently, he was conferred with prestigious Nelson Mandela Peace Award 2022 in the field of Good Governance and Social Services for his noble and excellent contribution for peace building, peace living and peace loving to serve the humanity beyond all boundaries through social welfare activities.
Inspector Ashok Kumar has rendered seven years of exemplary services in the SKPA Udhampur. He has authored Police Academy song which was approved and released by the DGP in the Academic Council meeting.
Selection Grade Constable Mastan Singh has performed duty with zeal and zest in imparting training to probationary DySPs and SIs. He has outstanding professional capabilities.
Director SKPA Udhampur Garib Dass felicitated the awardees and expressed hope that they will continue to perform duties with similar dedication.
