SSP Jammu listens to grievances of retd copsExcelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Mar 8: Senior officers of Jammu police had a meeting with its retired officials at RS Pura and had a threadbare discussion regarding their issues. SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil along with SP Headquarters Jammu Aadil Hamid, SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SHO of police station RS Pura Inspector Jai Pal Sharma subdivision listened to the grievances of the retirees which ranged from health to education of their wards, insurance schemes etc. During the meeting, various issues related to the welfare of the retired officials and their families were also discussed. SSP Jammu, on the occasion, assured the participants that the issues discussed would be put on priority and regular such meetings would take place in order to understand various problems of the retired police officials. He also invited the retired police officials for guest lectures on enhancing the investigation skills of new probationer Sub Inspectors.
