SSP inaugurates passenger shed at village Kali

SAMBA, Sept 13: Continuing with the aim to strengthen police-public relations, Samba Police under Civic Action Programme (CAP) constructed a passenger shed on Samba-Mansar-Udhampur road near village Kali, Nud in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Samba.
The passenger shed was today inaugurated by SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, along with SHO Samba and other prominent persons of the area in a simple but impressive function which was attended by a number of residents from village Kali and adjacent areas also. The locals of the area lauded the efforts of police for initiating various programmes for the welfare of general public.
On the occasion, SSP Samba while interacting with the people, highlighted the role of Jammu and Kashmir Police in building the sustainable assets for the local community which would go a long way in maintaining the healthy police – public relationship. It is an effort of Samba Police for the general public so as passengers waiting on roadside do not have any inconvenience, added SSP Samba.
