RAMBAN, Oct 6: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohita Sharma held a crime review meeting at District Police Office which was attended by DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen, SHOs Chanderkote, Batote and Ramban and Incharge Police Posts of Sub Division Ramban.
During the meeting, SP Ramban reviewed the old as well as fresh cases and issued necessary directions and guidelines to the IOs for prompt disposal of the under investigation cases, so that timely justice is delivered to the public on ground.
The main focus of the meeting was to do the investigation in proper manner to improve the quality of investigation and rate of conviction as well.
During the meeting, SP Ramban shed light on all the aspects of investigation of heinous and special nature cases at length and instructed the officers to monitor the investigation at the level of investigator, supervising authority and accepting authority effectively to take the investigation of the case to its conclusion rightly.
Detailed instructions and directions were also given to IOs of Sub Division Ramban for the conduct of effective and flawless investigation in NDPS and other cases of important nature.
Besides, she also issued directions to SHOs and IOs to arrest the absconders and trace out the missing persons.
