Srinagar, July 17: SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem today chaired the security review meeting regarding law & order, Eid & Muharram preparations and other crime work.
SSP chaired the security review meeting with Addl. SP, SDPOs/ SHOs/Incharge PPs of district Budgam and discussed different security measures for ensuring peace and stability in the district especially during Eid & Muharram days.
He also urged the officers to conclude the investigation of criminal cases on merits within the stipulated period.
SSP appreciated the efforts of police and other security forces for maintaining peace and stability in the district and emphasised upon them to maintain the synergy and better coordination with other security agencies at the ground level to maintain the peaceful environment and security in the district.
He directed the officers to strengthen the security grid in their respective areas and plug the gaps to avoid untoward incidents in the district & take all preventive & precautionary measures concerning the security of vulnerable persons.
