JAMMU, Aug 10: Rohingyas are illegal immigrants in Jammu and should be deported.
This was stated by Shri Ram Sena (SRS) State President, Rajiv Mahajan here on Friday.
Mahajan quoted a media report to say that recovery of huge amount of money from the Rohingyas has cleared that they are indulging in terrorist activities.
In a handout he further said that Rohingyas have a criminal record. “They are involved in thefts and other criminal activities,” said Mahajan adding that Rohingya are a threat to the national as well as regional security.
“While the Central Government wants to deport them, the State Government has no policy with regard to their deportation,” he maintained.
He further said that many Rohingyas have settled in hilly and forest areas across the river Tawi while some are residing in Bathindi, Narwal, Nagrota, Belicharna etc.
“They are brought here to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu and to support terrorists and separatists,” Mahajan said.
