SRINAGAR:
Srinagar, the summer capital of the State, today witnessed the hottest day of the season so far at 32.7 degrees Celsius.
“Srinagar recorded the maximum temperature of 32.7 degrees Celsius today – which is the hottest so far this year,” a MET Department spokesman said here.
He said the temperature is three degree above the normal for this part of the season.
The spokesman said the minimum temperature also registered an increase of two degrees from the normal as the mercury settled at 19 degrees Celsius.
He said the dry weather is expected to continue for the next two days followed by wet spell from July 7.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 32 degrees Celsius tomorrow, the spokesman said. (AGENCIES)
