SRINAGAR, May 7: Authorities at the Amar Singh College on Thursday ordered an inquiry into allegations of harassment levelled by a female student against a faculty member, following protests by students.
The student made harassment allegations against the head of the media studies department, Parvaiz Ahmad Lone, following which he was disassociated of his academic duties till the completion of the inquiry.
An order issued by the principal of the college said the proctorial board has been entrusted with conducting a transparent and time-bound inquiry into the matter and submitting a report within two days. (Agencies)
