JAMMU, Mar 26: To guide the young aspirants of J&K Public Service Commission (KAS) and UPSC (IAS) examinations, the SR College of Competitions today organized a free workshop covering different optionals and general studies.
While Director of the College, Parveen Sharma presented an overview of the general studies, the visiting faculty of Public Administration from Delhi, Gautam Pandey, R K Jha (Political Science) and Vishal Maini (Geography) were among other experts of rest of the optionals.
A good number of students turned up for the special workshops of 90 minutes each.
“There was good response to our call for a guidance session to those KAS and IAS spirants of the State. The growing interest among students towards the competitive examinations is truly a good sign. So, we have also doubled our efforts to provide best guidance through interactive and coaching sessions,” said Director of SR College of Competitions, Parveen Sharma.
