SPS museum

Sir,
This has reference to the article ‘SPS museum battles for survival’ DE Apr 4.
The author has brought into focus the bad condition of SPS museum which is a repository of historical documents, antique specimens of sculpture and some other valuable items.
Had this museum been in a foreign country,  it would have been maintained aesthetically and with great care. The connoisseurs of art seem be in a State of slumber and indifference as they have not pleaded its cause.
The museum is treasure trove of information and knowledge. It is a link with our past, hence can’t be put in a sorry State. Besides, it could attract visitors from around the world.
The concerned department should shift it in the new building without losing further time.
Yours etc..
