JAMMU, Mar 28: A 10-day Spring Camp was organized by MNKG Montessori School, Gandhi Nagar wherein children from different schools participated, here.
Yoga, Martial Art, ABACUS, Art and Craft, Painting, Roller Skating and Dancing were the main attractions of the Camp.
Dr R Madaan, the chairperson of Model Education Society, which runs the school was the chief guest on the occasion, who encouraged the students to participate in extra-curricular activities in future.
She distributed participation certificates to all the children and best performance prizes.
Erenjit Singh (Class 5th) got 1st prize in Martial Arts and Abacus. Nandan Rajput (Class 4th) got best prize in Yoga and Dancing, Divyansh (Class 7th) in Roller Skating and Jyoti (Class 9th) in Painting (Sr Group), Sapna (class 7th) in Art & Craft (Sr group), Rinita in Dance (Jr Group) and Prisha in Art and Craft (Jr Group).
Mementoes were also presented to Karan Singh, Vijay Gupta and B R Gupta (Yoga), Arvind Sharma, Director ABACUS, M K Wadhera, a renowned artist, S Anil Nanda (Trainer Martial Arts) and Vikan the Dance Master.
A memento was presented to the chief guest by the chairman of the School, S Rabinder Singh.
The Principal, Prof Gurdip Kour expressed gratitude to all for making the Camp a success.
