Sprawling Buds, Apple Kids celebrate Annual Day ‘Umang’

JAMMU, Dec 20: Sprawling Buds ICSE School and Apple Kids International Pre- School, Bantalab celebrated its Annual Day ‘Umang’ with pomp and show at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here.
Dr SD Singh, Inspector General of Police, Jammu was the chief guest, who along with guests of honour, Fr Antony Peppin, Chairman, DIOCESE of Jammu-Srinagar Education Society and Parveen Kumar Sharma, Chairman Citizens Cooperative Bank Ltd distributed prizes among the achievers in academic, sports and cultural activities held during the year.
The tiny tots of School presented a colorful cultural programme which enthralled the gathering of distinguished personalities of parents and students. The function started with Ganesh Vandana and lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, guests of honour and other dignitaries.
Then the little toddlers from Play group presented an eye catching Fashion Show in which they showcased the latest fashion trends by wearing beautiful attires, which was followed by Yoga Aasans and Martial Art skills by the young students.
The function was based on the theme ‘Umang’ in which students beautifully presented different cultural items with joy and enthusiasm. They also presented an item based on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Earlier, Vice- Principal of the School, Vidhina Mahajan presented welcome address.
It was followed by the presentation of annual report by the Director of the school, Arti Sharma.
Prominent among others present in the function included special guests Ram Khajuria, Secretary, Indian Mountaine-ering Foundation North Zone Committee, New Delhi,Faheem Tak, Vice President Take-1 Channel, Neeraj Anand, President, Chamber of Traders Federation, Chand Jee Bhat, President BJP Kashmir Displaced District and Subhash Bhagat, Ex Municipal Corporator.
