Born on November 11, 1994, Sanju Vishwanath Samson commonly called Sanju Samson is AN Indian cricketer from Trivantripuram in Kerala, who is a member of Indian Cricket Team. He is a wicket-keeper batsman and represents Kerala in domestic cricket. In the IPL he plays for Rajasthan. He is the youngest cricketer to score a half century in IPL. This he achievement on April 29, 2013 in the match between Rajasthan Royals and RCB match.
He made his debut for Kerala on November 3, 2011. At the age of 17, he became the youngest to represent Kerala in First Class Cricket. He had an impressive domestic season in 2012-13, scoring 222 runs in Vijay Hazare Tournament and 722 runs from 10 innings including 2 centuries in Ranji Trophy in that season. He made his IPL debut against Kings XI Punjab on April 13, 2013, after the regular wicketkeeper Dishant Yagnik failed to recover from an injury. He scored composed 27 runs off 23 deliveries and his unbroken partnership of 47 runs with Ajinkya Rahane made sure that Rajasthan Royals won the match with 4 balls to spare. Presently, Sanju is rated to be one of the promising youngsters in the Country. Commentators usually say that Samson possesses almost all that is required to blossom at the highest level.
