Born on November 23, 1994, Vijay Hari Zol is an Indian cricketer. He is a left-handed middle-order batsman who plays for Maharashtra.
In 2012, he signed a youth contract with the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is also a member of India Under-19 cricket team.
In December 2011, in an Under-19 match for Maharashtra, Zol scored an unbeaten 451 off 467 deliveries batting for almost eleven hours. He hit 53 boundaries and two sixes in that record-breaking innings. He made his List A debut in February 2012. He was selected for the India Under-19 cricket team as a Captain for the Under-19 Triangular Series in Australia in 2013
In his 7 List A matches, Zol has scored 252 runs with an average of 36 runs including 2 half-centuries, while in 4 T20 matches, Zol has scored 189 runs with an average of 47.25 runs, including one hundred and one fifty.
Skippering India Under-19 team against Sri Lanka recently, Vijay Zol slammed 2 back to back marathon centuries to help himself get the National selectors nod to be picked for India A team. He was member of India A team which played against New Zealand A recently.
