9Born on October 11, 1993, Hardik Pandya is an Indian cricketer who plays for Baroda cricket team. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium-fast. At the 2015 IPL players’ auction, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians for his base price of Rs. 10 lakh. In IPL 2015, he scored a quick fire 21 runs of 8 balls and grabbed 3 important catches to help MI beat CSK by 6 wickets and was awarded the man of the match. Later on against KKR in a must win situation for MI to remain in the race for the top 4 teams ,he scored a quickfire 62 of 31 balls to earn his second man of the match award in the season and won the match for his side. He was also awarded the ‘Yes bank maximum sixes award’ for the same match. His superb back to back performances have helped him to cement his place in the Mumbai Indian Squad. In his 6 First Class matches, Pandya has scored 285 runs, with an average of 23.75, while in 4 List A matches, he has scored 164 runs, with an average of 54.66 and in his 20 T20 matches, Pandya has scored 415 runs with an average of 28 runs. Experts believe that Hardik Pandya possesses almost all that is required to blossom at the International Level.
