RAMNAGAR, Nov 8: The disengaged SPO, who created a high-voltage drama here yesterday by climbing atop a mobile tower, was taken into Police custody this morning but released on bail after some time.
Reports said that Rattan Lal, who had invited attention of entire Government machinery in the district and locals towards his demand for reinstatement by climbing atop the tower yesterday morning, secretly came down in the wee hours and went to his house. In the early morning, he surrendered before the police, which took him into the custody and later released on bail.
As reported today, Rattan Lal along with some other sacked SPOs, was protesting for the last five days for reinstatement. They were sitting on dharna at Rani Park in Ramnagar town.
