JAMMU, Oct 13: Three students of Government SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu, Department of Management Studies have jointly won the first prize in Jashn-e-Riyasat under the category “Exploring The Unexplored” through PowerPoint Presentation Competition.
The event was organized by the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, University of Jammu.
The winning team comprising Anmol Gupta, Shuvam Sharma and Swyam Duggal was adjudged by the judges as the only team to be considered for winning the prize for the event.
In their Power Point Presentation, the team coined new phrase for promoting Jammu Tourism “Just Arrive and Make Moments Unforgettable (J.A.M.M.U.)”. They created a concept for development of an app for promoting Jammu Tourism, which can work as a guide for the potential tourists visiting Jammu.
Principal of the College, J.L. Bhagat hoped that the effort would go a long way in promoting tourism in Jammu circuit and helping the aspirant tourists to visit Jammu and Kashmir.
