JAMMU, Mar 28: Department of Management Studies of Government SPMR College of Commerce in collaboration with Reliance Jio Infocom Limited conducted two-day placement drive.
70 students from BBA, B Com (Hons) and B Com participated in the drive for the positions of Job Assistant Manager Trainee and Job Sales Officer. The students were very enthusiastic about the placement.
The drive started with presentation by Sitanshu Bangotra, Head Talent Acquisition Support, Gourav Kapoor, Talent Acquisition Support and Maninder Singh, Mobility Sales, Jammu.
On the basis of written test, candidates were shortlisted and after passing through a rigorous interview session by the team of experts, 31 students were selected finally.
While speaking on the occasion, Prof (Dr) Anil Gupta, Principal of the College, stressed on the need of creating employment opportunities for the students through campus placements which help in identifying the talented and qualified professionals before they complete their graduation.
The drive was conducted under the guidance of Prof Bharti Slathia, Head, Department of Management Studies and was coordinated by Prof Suresh Sadotra, Prof Goldy Mahajan, Prof Jyoti Sharma and Prof Lekha Nagar.
