SPMR College lifts Football Tournament title

JAMMU, Oct 13: SPMR College of Commerce registered win over MBS College of Engineering and Technology by a solitary goal and lifted the title trophy of the “Play for Health Football Tournament”, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College ground, here today.
The first half of the match ended with no goal, whereas in the second half, Ajay Kumar netted the goal in 43rd minute. MBS College team failed to equalize the game and lost the match by 1-0 goal.
On the valedictory function, Rajesh Gupta, MLA East was the chief guest, who awarded the winner and runner-up teams in presence of Surinder Singh Bunty, Vice President JKFA, Kuldeep Singh Ex-District President, Yousuf Don, Secretary and Rajesh Kumar Treasurer JKFA.
Dr Sumeera Khan, Incharge Camp Office JKSACS Jammu, Dr Yashpal Karsyal, Assistant Director, Risheesh Khajuria, Assistant Director, Aashish Saraf, DA and Varun Gupta, DA from Medical Department were also present.
The match was officiated by Ricky Kumar, Koushal Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Moon Madan and Suresh Gupta.
