JAMMU, May 7: Special DG BSF, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, who is also the head of the Western Command, today discussed the current security scenario with Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain.
“In an hour-and-a-half long meeting, both sides discussed in detail the current security situation in different areas and pockets of Jammu and Kashmir, including infiltration related dynamics,” read a statement issued by Jammu and Kashmir Police.
It said that the IG BSF, Dinesh Kumar Boora, who was also present in the meeting, provided valuable analytical inputs and actionable points for greater coordination in meeting the new challenges.
The senior officers also discussed election deployment, terrorist activities in Basantgarh area and threats in Rajouri and Poonch.
