JAMMU, Aug 19: Panun Kashmir (PK) while terming the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 -A bold and historical decision of Narendra Modi Government and praised both PM and Home Minister, Amit Shah for departure from past Governments, however cautioned it about the unwritten matter of defacto Muslim State which it said is still alive.
The PK, which held series of corner meetings here to educate the people about positive implications of abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A also held a meeting of prominent citizens at Sarwal which was chaired by PK convener, Dr Agnishekhar and among others addressed by its chairman, Dr Ajay Chrungoo and its secretary Bihari Lal Koul.
The PK leaders while addressing the meeting said the vast anti national infrastructure in Kashmir Valley and other parts of the erstwhile State needs to be destroyed at an earliest. They, while hailing the Union Government said the present Union Government led by Narendra Modi has taken the cognizance of relentless PK campaign at local, national and international arena and realised the dangerous ramifications of continuing with the State which was promoting the pro-Pak agenda to downgrade the true Indian voice of the State by oppression, suppression, discrimination, injustice, deprivation and marginalization.
The speakers said both the leaders mustard courage to dismantle the legal edifice Muslim State of J&K in secular India.
They said PK has been recognized the front line organization in introducing the concept of free flow of Indian Constitution in letter and spirit by establishing Indian Union Territory and reorganization of the State of J&K.
The leaders further stated that GoI needs to devise the strategy for return of KPs to Kashmir by ensuring that reversal of genocide takes place completely and the same forms the core principle of KPs rehabilitation. It is firmly believed that hardcore nationalist Govern-ment of India will abandon tokenistic return and initiate all measures for comprehensive return of KPs by taking due cognizance of Margdarshan resolution of 1991, it added.
Among others Murari Jee Koul also spoke on the occasion. P L Koul Badgami a senior KP leader anchored the proceedings.
