JAMMU, Mar 6: Dr Sapna Gupta from the Deptt of Pharmacology, GMC Jammu, delivered a special guest lecture on “ Health and hygiene of the girls”.
She stressed upon different aspects of health in general and importance of hygiene in particular . She also talked about the need for girls especially to have a balanced and nutritious diet as a significant aspect of a healthy way of living. Further she also focused upon the stress management techniques in general and Yoga and meditation in particular, which are the dire needs to cope with contemporary stresses in different areas of life faced by women folk in general.
Dr Roshi Gupta and Dr Pallvi Kudyar were also present during the lecture and interacted with the students on the theme concerned.
Dr Sanjay Gupta, Director The Law School, introduced the speaker to the students.
Earlier, Dr Seema Rohmetra, Sr Assistant Professor welcomed the dignitaries. Dr Monica Narang, Sr Assistant Professor in The Law School, coordinated the lecture and delivered vote of thanks.
Senior faculty members along with girl students in large number attended the lecture.
