Special focus on equitable development of State: Sakina

KHANABAL, Oct 24: Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo today said that during last four years of Omar Abdullah regime, special focus has been given on road connectivity, construction of bridges, providing basic health care to the common people, while the three main sectors education, health and construction of roads were prioritized, so that the common people especially living in far flung and remote area would be benefited of the schemes launched by the present Government.
Addressing a public gathering here, the Minister asked the people not to pay heed to the bogus propaganda of those elements who are not interested in the overall development of the State. She said the present Government is very keen for equitable development of the three regions of the State
Stressing upon Sarpanchs and Panchs, Ms Sakina asked them to work with dedication and take Village Committee on board for ensuring over all development of the villages. She also said that LPG issue is not of any particular area, but the whole country facing this challenge and assured them that she will take up the matter with concerned. However, She said that she had personally requested to Chief Minister to solve this burning issue and also stressed upon the dealers not to harass the customers for unreasonably.
